Construction team agreement with De Vries en Verburg

Realisation will progress rapidly: Hyde Park has signed a construction team agreement with De Vries en Verburg Bouw. Sale of the apartments is to start directly after the summer while start of construction is planned for the end of this year.
Hyde Park is to be built on the site of the former Beukenhorst-West business park. Over the next few years, a vibrant urban district is to be created here, with approximately 3800 apartments and a wide range of facilities. The district will meet the high demand for housing in Haarlemmermeer. To date, more than 8500 people have already shown an interest in the newest urban district in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region, the majority of whom are from Haarlemmermeer. The urban plan for the new district was produced by Winy Maas of MVRDV.
Optimal natural light
Kensington was designed by Barcode Architects of Rotterdam. Their design encompasses various building elements. Most of these have a stepped construction, ensuring optimal natural light in the apartments and providing space for large roof terraces and outside areas. Kensington is one of the first buildings that is going to be built and within the past few days, a construction team agreement has been signed with De Vries en Verburg Bouw of Stolwijk – a renowned builder of large-scale residential buildings – which means that the actual realisation of Kensington can start. Final preparations will be carried out over the next few months before the actual construction starts at the end of this year. The sale of the apartments will start directly after the summer holidays.
